How to submit a request to cancel or correct a contribution or withdrawal

How to submit the request

First, find the client's CRM Contact Record page by searching contact name in the search bar. Navigate to the Servicing (Service Request) tab on your clients contact card and select Account Administration. 

Step 1:

  • Select Special handling

Step 2:

  • Select Cancel / Correct

Step 3:

  • Select the account that you would like to cancel / correct a contribution to or withdrawal from

Step 4:

  • Choose whether you would like to Cancel a contribution/withdrawal entirely, or Correct the amount.

Step 5 (Cancel):

  • If you would like to Cancel:
    • Provide the Transaction Type, Amount and the Settlement date of the original contribution/withdrawal.
    • Submit the request

Step 5 (Correct):

  • If you would like to Correct:
    • Provide the Transaction Type, Original Amount, Corrected Amount and the Settlement date of the original contribution/withdrawal.
    • Submit the request

 

Service Standard

Cancel/correct requests are generally completed in 14 business days.
