Systematic Plan Requests

Create, Modify, and Stop Plans

Systematic Plan requests enable users to submit requests on behalf of clients in order to Create, Modify and Stop Plans between their investment accounts at Optimize.

Requests can be submitted directly from the CRM by first, searching for the client's name to pull up the client's CRM Contact Record. Then, navigate to the Servicing (Service Request) extension located in the middle-panel of the client's contact record.

Create Plans 

You can submit a request to Create a Plan by navigating to the Servicing (Service Request) extension, selecting Plans, and then by selecting Create Plan. The Create Plan request section has two Request Types that you can choose from. 

  • PAC: You can create a Pre-Authorized Contribution (PAC) plan. This request allows clients to automate their investments or savings, ensuring consistent contributions over time. Learn more about how to create a PAC
  • SWP: You can create a Systematic Withdrawal Plan (SWP) plan. This request allows clients to receive regular income from their investments, providing a steady cash flow for expenses or retirement. Learn more about how to create a SWP

Please Note: SWP's can only be created for Cash, RIF & LIF accounts.

 

TFSA, RRSP and FHSA are not eligible for SWPs

 

Modify Plans 

You can submit a request to Modify a Plan by navigating to the Servicing (Service Request) extension, selecting Plans, and then by selecting Manage Plan. The Manage Plan request section has four Request Types that you can choose from. 

  • PAC: You can modify a Pre-Authorized Contribution (PAC) plan. This Request may be necessary to adjust contribution amounts based on changing financial circumstances or goals Learn more about how to Modify a PAC
  • SWP: You can modify a Systematic Withdrawal Plan (SWP). This Request may be necessary to adjust withdrawal amounts based on changes in financial needs or life circumstances. Learn more about how to Modify a SWP
  • RIF: You can modify a Retirement Income Fund (RIF). This Request may be necessary to adjust withdrawal amounts based on changes in financial needs or retirement expenses. Learn more about how to Modify a RIF
  • LIF: You can modify a Life Income Fund (LIF). This Request may be necessary to adjust withdrawal amounts based on changes in financial needs or retirement expenses. Learn more about how to Modify a LIF

 

Stop Plans

You can submit a request to Stop a Plan by navigating to the Servicing (Service Request) extension, selecting Plans, and then by selecting Manage Plan. The Stop Plan request section has four Request Types that you can choose from. 

  • PAC: Pre-Authorized Contribution (PAC) plan. This Request may be necessary due to changes in financial circumstances, such as job loss or unexpected expenses. It allows clients to temporarily pause contributions to manage cash flow more effectively. Learn more about how to Stop a PAC
