Will and Estate Preparation

Learn about the two different Will Preparation requests

First, find the client's CRM Contact Record page by searching contact name in the search bar. You can submit a request for Will and Estate Preparation by navigating to the Servicing (Service Request) extension, selecting Family Office Services, and then by selecting Will Preparation. The Will Preparation request section has two request types that you can choose from when creating a plan: Individual plan and Family plan. 

Individual Plan

Individual Will Preparation focuses on a single person's wishes for asset distribution and personal affairs, tailored to their specific needs. Having an individual will ensures that your wishes regarding asset distribution are clearly documented, preventing disputes among family members.

Family Plan

Family Will Preparation involves creating a unified plan that addresses the collective interests of all family members; often including shared assets and guardianship decisions for minors. Having a family plan prepares a unified plan for asset distribution, ensuring that everyone's wishes are aligned and reducing potential conflicts.
