Creating/Modifying Plans Timelines

Learn about the different timelines for systematic plans

This article outlines the standard processing timelines for key systematic account activities, including Pre-Authorized Contributions (PAC), Systematic Withdrawal Plans (SWP), and Retirement Income Fund (RIF) / Life Income Fund (LIF) plans.

Each section provides a breakdown of expected timelines for every stage of the request process—from submission to completion—so that you can better anticipate when actions will be finalized. Understanding these timelines is essential for setting accurate client expectations and ensuring efficient service delivery.

Note: Requests to create, modify or stop a SWP payment must be submitted at least 14 Calendar Days in advance of the plan activity date to guarantee proper setup. Requests with an Effective Date that falls within 14 Calendar Days of the ticket Creation Date will be rejected.
