How to Complete the Joint Panel

Learn how to accurately complete the Joint panel when opening a new account.

The Joint panel collects essential personal details about the account holder, such as Survivorship Details and Spouse. 

The Joint Account Profile will only be needed if you're opening up a joint account. 


Filling Out Joint Account Profile Information

Enter the client’s personal details into the provided fields:

  • Survivorship Details: Select either Joint Tenants or Tenants in Common. Joint Tenants: Joint tenants with rights of survivorship and not as tenants in common. Tenants in Common: In the event of the death of either or any of the undersigned, the interests in the tenancy as of the close of business on the date of death of the decedent
  • Is the spouse also the second account holder: Select Yes or No. 

 


Saving the Panel

After completing all required fields:

  • Click Save to lock in the provided details.
  • The panel status will update from Incomplete (yellow) to Complete (green) upon successful saving.
