How to Complete the Transfers Panel
Learn how to accurately complete the Transfers panel when opening a new account.
The Transfer panel collects essential personal details about the movement of funds or assets between financial institutions. This information is critical for identity verification, compliance, and client communication.
This panel is optional and you can add transfer forms to intimate transfers upon account opening. You will have the option to add transfer details about each account type.
Filling Out Transfer Information
Enter the client’s transfers details into the provided fields:
- Relinquishing Institution: Type in the relinquishing institution.
- Relinquishing Account Number: Type in the relinquishing institution account number.
- Relinquishing Institution Address: Add the fields below for the address of the relinquishing institution.
- Civic: Type in the civic number.
- Street Name: Type in the street name
- Street Type (if applicable): Type in the street type. (E.g., Dr, Avenue, Way).
- Unit Type (if applicable): Type in the unit type. (E.g., Apt, Unit).
- Unit Number (if applicable): Type in the unit number.
- Street Direction(if applicable): Type in the street direction. (E.g., North, SW,).
- Country: Type in the country. (E.g., Canada, United States).
- City: Type in the city. (E.g., Toronto, Oakville)
- Province: Type in the province. (E.g., Ontario, Alberta.) If you are in the U.S then type in the state. (E.g., New York, Ohio)
- Postal Code: Type in the postal code. (E.g. for postal code X#X#X#) (E.g., for zip code ##### or #######)
- Transfer Amount: Type in the amount in the account.
- Transfer Type: Select the transfer type of either all in cash, partial, or all assets- mixed
- Transfer Form: Attach the transfer form.
Saving the Panel
After completing all required fields:
- Click Save to lock in the provided details.
- The panel status will update from Incomplete (yellow) to Complete (green) upon successful saving.
