Customizing Client Strategies in Step-by-Step Mode
What is Step-by-Step Guide in SAM?
The Step-by-Step Guide in Conquest is designed to help financial advisors and planners efficiently create, manage, and analyze comprehensive financial plans for clients. In this guide, SAM suggests the most impactful strategy step by step for each specific goal. For each goal, SAM provides a bold title that clearly defines the recommended action, like “Increase Monthly Contributions” for retirement. It then gives a simple description of the strategy, explaining what the client should do.
How Does Using Step-by-Step Guide Work in Practice?
Step 2
Auto strategy selection
Upon selecting the Step-by-Step Planning tab, SAM will sequentially present strategies aligned with your chosen goal. You will then have the opportunity to evaluate and determine whether to implement the recommended strategy.
If necessary, planners can modify the applied strategies directly from the Applied Strategies Panel, enabling manual adjustments to any part of the plan.
Features and Functionality
Goal-Based Strategy Proposals
- SAM provides a step-by-step approach by proposing the most impactful strategy for each specific financial goal.
- Each proposed strategy is focused on addressing the client’s immediate needs and future objectives.
Quantified Impact Analysis
- Each strategy includes an analysis of the quantified impact it is expected to provide, allowing you to see how it will affect the client’s ability to meet their goals. This could include projected savings, growth, or increased probability of goal achievement.
Toggling Through Strategies
- As you review different proposed strategies, they are dynamically added to the Applied Strategies Panel, giving you a clear overview of the strategies that have been selected so far.
Activate or Deactivate Strategies
- To activate a strategy, simply check the box at the bottom of the proposed strategy. This will apply the strategy to the plan. If you wish to deactivate a strategy, click the X next to it. While the strategy will remain in the Applied Strategies Panel, it will be inactive until you decide to re-activate it.
Flexibility and Control
- This mode offers the flexibility to select and deselect strategies at any point during the planning process, giving you full control over which strategies are implemented in the plan.
