Sharing the client PDF report to the Client portal

Navigating the Advisor Portal to Generate and Share PDF Reports Effectively

Introduction

Clients can access the latest recommended plan report conveniently through their Client Portal, provided their portal access has been successfully set up. Once you generate the initial PDF report from your advisor portal, it will automatically be made available to the client in their portal for easy reference and download.

PDF report sharing process

Step 1:

  • To make the PDF version of the recommended plan report accessible to the client via their Client Portal, you must first generate the report in your advisor portal.
  • Navigate to the Review menu, select Client Resources, and then click on Prepare Report to complete the process.

Step 2:

  • From the Prepare Report screen, simply click the Generate Report button to finalize the process.

Step 3: 

  • Once the reports appear in the View Shared Reports section of the app, the latest report will automatically be accessible through the Client Portal.

Accessing the PDF Report on the Client Portal

The next time your client logs in to their Client Portal, the PDF Report page will be prominently available. By clicking on it, they can open the most recent report in PDF format in a separate tab.

From there, the client can view, download, or save the report just as they would with any other PDF document.

The PDF Report icon can be found under Client Resources in the left-hand navigation bar.

Additionally, it is accessible from the Your Financial Plan screen in the top-right corner for added convenience.
